Peer-Led Grief Support Circles at The Grief Room

We align technical insight with disciplined execution to provide measurable gains across operational, financial, and strategic domains.

A Note About the Circles

These are peer-led grief support circles, not therapy groups. Circle leaders are not therapists, experts, healers, or fixers within this space. They are there to help curate and hold the container, tend the rhythm of the gathering, and make room for participants to share, listen, reflect, and be witnessed.

The circle belongs to the people who gather within it.

We enter with a theme, a structure, and some gentle invitations and then allow the wisdom, needs, and lived experiences of the group to help shape what unfolds.

THE SEASON (2026-2027)

October → November → December → January → February → March → April

Grief circles are held once a month, October–April, on a consistent day and time each month.

Cost & Sliding Scale

$140 - $200 for all 7 circles

Cost Breakdown: $20 - 30 per support circle

(must sign-up is for all 7)

We use a sliding scale to make these circles more accessible and to invite each participant to contribute according to their financial capacity.

There is no need to justify or explain the amount you choose. We trust you to consider your own circumstances and choose a level that feels both honest and sustainable.

Payment

You may pay the full amount when you register or choose to split your payment into two installments.

  • Option 1: Pay in full at registration

  • Option 2: Two payments, with the second payment due before the circles begin

Cost Transparency:

The cost of participating helps sustain the wider container of The Grief Room.

Funds are used to help:

  • Cover the ongoing overhead and care of the physical space. Anchor us here longer with greater security.

  • Keep circle materials and supplies stocked

  • Support the preparation and care of our circle leaders

  • Pour resources back into the community and the people tending these spaces

Our circle leaders are volunteering their time. Each leader has participated in orientations to prepare for holding this space with care.

Because we believe those who tend community also need places to be tended, a portion of the funds will be set aside to support our leaders through their own Circle Leader Support Circles, spaces where they can gather, process, receive care, and be witnessed in the work they are offering to others.
