our space offerings
Mental Health Therapy
-
The Grief Room partners with therapists who are deeply attuned to grief, loss, trauma, and life thresholds. These clinicians are invited into the space because of their specialized training, relational presence, and commitment to care that honors both individual and collective healing.
Partner therapists may offer individual sessions, small groups, or specialized offerings within The Grief Room. Their work is grounded in trauma-informed, grief-literate approaches and shaped by an understanding that grief often lives in the body, in relationships, and in the spaces between what was and what is becoming.
This partnership allows The Grief Room to be a place where therapeutic care and community support coexist—where people can receive professional guidance while also being held within a wider culture of care, ritual, and shared humanity.

Massage & Energy Work
-
The Grief Room partners with bodyworkers, energy workers, and massage therapists whose work honors grief, trauma, and life transitions as embodied experiences. These practitioners are chosen for their skill, gentleness, and capacity to work with care, consent, and attunement.
Offerings may include massage, Reiki and other energy-based practices, somatic support, and hands-on or hands-off bodywork designed to support regulation, rest, and integration. Sessions are grounded in trauma-informed approaches that recognize the body as a place where grief is held, expressed, and slowly released.
These partnerships allow The Grief Room to offer nonverbal pathways to healing—supporting nervous system settling, reconnection, and care beyond words. Body-based offerings are woven into the larger ecosystem of the space, where professional care exists alongside ritual, community presence, and collective tending.

Rituals, Circles & Classes
-
The Grief Room hosts rituals, groups, and classes that create space for shared tending—honoring grief, loss, and life transitions within community. These offerings are facilitated by experienced practitioners whose work is rooted in care, presence, and respect for the tender thresholds people carry.
Rituals may mark moments of remembrance, change, or integration. Groups offer opportunities for reflection, connection, and mutual witnessing. Classes invite learning, embodiment, and creative expression as pathways for healing. Together, these offerings support both personal and collective processes, recognizing that grief is not meant to be carried alone.
Each gathering is held with attention to emotional safety, consent, and accessibility, allowing participants to engage at their own pace. These communal experiences are an essential part of The Grief Room’s ecosystem—complementing individual care with shared practices that nurture belonging, meaning, and continuity.

Individual + Group Reservations
-
The Grief Room is a sanctuary for personal rituals, deep reflection, and embodied healing. Whether you need space for solitude, ceremony, or creative processing, we invite you to settle in and make it your own.
We encourage longer reservation times, as it often takes our nervous system time to orient to a new space and fully drop into presence. Giving yourself spaciousness allows for deeper integration, rest, and transformation.
